Authentic
This garden had been somewhat neglected when we started work on it. There were lots a tarmac paths and old neglected borders. Through careful planning, many plants were saved and some borders reinstated. The aim of this design was to provide a functional space for the family with a authentic feel, in keeping with the house.
A circular path was created around the garden to allow the children to have a 'track' to play on, with a matching circular patio laid, to sit and admire the house from. In this instance, we used a light/white limestone for the slabs and pavers. A pergola was erected as an entrance feature when approaching the garden and set to grow wisteria, clematis and passion flower.
A random section of block-paving to the side of the property was converted into a more contemporary area for the hot tub to sit, with a removable screen offering privacy from the rest of the garden. The remaining side area provided room for seating and a table-tennis table.
